Olfactive Description: Citrus, Peely, Bright, Tart A gorgeous citrus scent, Pink Grapefruit essential oil is perky and uplifting, making it an ideal essential oil for welcoming reed diffusers and room sprays. Cold pressed from the peel of pink grapefruit, this scent stands on its own or works as a sassy top note in blends. We��ve found that Pink Grapefruit essential oil performs beautifully in bath and body products like bar soap, lotion, and perfume. We also recommend it for use in ambience setting wax melts and tarts. Candle Maker��s Notes:We do not recommend this essential oil for use in candles. While it is safe for use in candles, we found that the burning flame transforms the fragrance into an unpleasant scent. Wax melts, however, produce the expected citrus scent. Reed Diffuser Maker��s Notes:In regards to reed diffusers, although IFRA reports a high maximum usage rate, we found the overall performance even at a 25% usage rate to be weak. If you’d like to use this essential oil, we recommend using it in a blend for best performance. Room and Linen Spray Maker’s Notes:We do not recommend Pink Grapefruit Essential Oil in room and linen spray due to potential staining, even though it is IFRA approved.
